FBI Enters Search For Boy Last Seen In WI

RACINE - The FBI has joined the search for a missing Aurora, IL boy who was last seen at the Kalahari Resort in Lake Delton, WI.

Timothy Pitzen, 6, was taken by his mother, Amy Fry-Pitzen from Aurora last week.  She was found dead in a Rockford hotel room Saturday.  However, no one has seen Timothy.

Police released new details of the path the two took in Fry-Pitzen's final days. 

After leaving the Kalahari Friday morning, credit card transactions show Pitzen stopped for snacks at a Johnson Creek gas station.  She bought children's clothes and toys at a Shopko in Racine.  That same day, cell phone records show Pitzen made phone calls and sent texts from an area near Sterling, IL.  One family member says they spoke to Timothy.

Fry-Pitzen left a suicide note claiming the boy was safe and she left him with unnamed people.

Police believe that might be the case.  They are asking anyone who has seen Timothy to call the Aurora Police or the FBI.
