Would absolutely love a higher capacity iPod Classic. While I enjoy having my entire library on my iPod, the issue for me is not the number of songs. It's the quality of the files. I would love to be able to rip at a higher bitrate or even lossless and be able to output those either through headphones or a car stereo. I recognize that the minority are audiophiles. However, there seems to be a push in the industry for higher quality files. Really? Are you 12? If so then I can understand. Aside from Ringo they all went out and had not only successful solo careers but also continued to influence other artists and music as a whole. C'mon. Lennon and McCartney obviously did. Harrison was the most under rated. He was the leader of the Traveling Wilbury's(Great Band) and many looked up to him. All things must Pass- Great F'in album. In my opinion, the current political leaders have little choice in the current involvement in Iraq and Afghanistan. Regardless of the reasons for getting into those conflicts, simply packing up and going home is just irresponsible. A transition of power and a peace keeping force will provide the population with more stability and security; and help change those nations in a democratic fashion rather than leaving a power vacuum in volatile situations. It's a combination of things, but all pointing to the same fact. There's virtually no competition in the Mac marketplace. Competition is what drives innovation. It's what makes Intel and AMD keep cranking out faster chips. There is no such competition in the Mac marketplace. Until there is, we're going to be stuck with slow(er), more expensive hardware. And Apple is still going to be percieved as a miniscule presence. I think Steve Jobs is a good showman, but I don't think he's a very good CEO. Apple needs an enterprise strategy. A results-oriented approach to getting business done, and integrating data across multiple platforms and industries. They need to gain wider acceptence of the Mac platform to create competition and development. That's the only way Apple is going to succeed as a company. Lou Gerstner (who is by far one of the most brilliant business men of our age, next to Billiam Gates) said in 1999; the days of the personal computer are numbered and dwindling. Business, education, and home usage are all moving to web-centered resources: allowing integration and data unity across the board. Without an enterprise strategy, Apple won't survive.
