American Craft Beer Week: Strange Brewing Company
Time flies when you're drinking good beer. We can't believe it was already a year ago when we visited Denver's newest brewery, Strange Brewing Company . And what a great way to celebrate their first year: During American Craft Beer Week from May 16-22. On Tuesday, they're holding happy hour all day with $1 off pints and barleywines on tap. On Wednesday they'll be open from 3 p.m.-9-ish with a special tapping of the Double Take Imperial IPA with live music by the Black Dots and Lizzie Huffman from 5 p.m.-close.
Thursday is their official anniversary!! They'll be doing a special tapping of their 151 Anniversary Belgium Ale, live music will take place from 5 p.m.-close by The Colorado Goat Ropers - Oh and 14 beers will be on tap!!

Originally conceived and written by Paolo Rotondo and Rob Makaraka, who blend their own family histories with those of strangers, Strange Resting Places shines a light on New Zealand’s wartime history, exploring cultural differences to comic effect, as well as the four universals shared with Italians:- the love of family, food, seduction and song!
Live music intertwines with drama and comedy in three languages – Māori, English and Italian – in this critically acclaimed Taki Rua production which has toured internationally to festivals in London, Singapore, Australia, and American Samoa, as well as Aotearoa. From the sharing of coffee in the prologue, to the serving of wine and food at the end of each performance, the chemistry between the performers extends outwards to include the audience.
